DROP OFF POLICIES
- ~ C’est la Vie will sort through your bag/bags in the order in which they have been received. This will take between 2 days and 4 days.
- ~ You will receive a phone call/message to find out if you have to pick up any rejects, or sign a contract, number of items taken. Deadline dates to pick up rejects is one week after the phone call/message (WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU DON’T GET THE MESSAGE or don’t have voice mail, or your phone is broken!).
- ~ That is why YOU MUST call us 6 days AFTER YOUR DROP OFF, IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED A PHONE CALL/MESSAGE FROM US (or THE REJECT WILL BE DONATED if you wait any longer).
- ~ We can not be responsible for any lost items.
- ~ We do sincerely thank you for consigning with us!
CONTRACT
- ~ C’est la Vie split with consignors is 50/50.
- ~ Selling prices are determined by C’est la Vie.
- ~ The items are kept for a minimum of 90 days, OFTEN LONGER, as C’est la Vie gives the items more than one chance to be sold.
- ~ If C’est la Vie phones you to tell you to pick up unsold items, you will have one week from the date of the phone call to pick them up.
- ~ As a consignor, you are responsible for keeping your contract current & updated (please let us know of a change of phone number, or unsold items might be donated).
- ~ You must check your own money/ account/ unsold items. Have your account number ready with your first name (put your
consignor number into your cell).
- ~ If Consignors want their items back it is their responsibility to find them on the floor, if some items are in the process to be returned or in seasonal stock the consignor will have to wait until the seasonal stock is open/out on the floor or the unsold items are bagged.
- ~ If your account is inactive for a year, it will expire, so please CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT MONTHLY (with consignor number!).
- ~ Please note that C’est la Vie can’t be responsible for thefts, damage and lost items.
